Woodmont Billy Norwester Lad is CanaDream’s youngest stud; he is a very pretty black stallion with a small star. He was chosen for our breeding program because of his stunning movement, refined bone and lovely head and neck. We feel Lad is the perfect choice for our larger boned mares and we will find out if our hunch was right in July 2006 as he bred his first mare in 2005, our mare Max Lalou Fanny # 5767. If we had to describe his movement, one might said it is fluid and graceful; he floats but he also has exceptional extension and takes great pride in his movement. His canter is very well balanced, he ‘sits down’ and has natural self-carriage. Visitors love to watch the Lad move and strut his stuff, his neck is splendid and exceptionally elegant, arching beautiful when he trots or canters. In addition to superb movement, this boy is extremely mild-mannered, one would not know he is a stallion. He is very easy to handle and is craving for attention. He is coming 3 years old and presenting stands 15.1+hh, we expect he should mature to 15.2hh.
